Our new unit is Warrington unit. We design houses- draw sketches, sewing, design paper houses. And today I practised how I can do house from cardboard box....to be honest it's harder than it sounds.
Soo look my first cute cardboard box house :)

Koi fish
I drew these Koi fish for my boyfriend:) I used graphite pencils and fineliner for this.
I really like them, the Koi fish is so cute and beautiful.
This drawing is smaller than A4 so it's a little one but I plan that I draw a similar but bigger Koi fish drawing soon.
Print unit final piece
I chose the fabric print method to make my final piece. It's a big abstract, colourful parrot.
I copied this many times in one fabric so that't why it's special and interesting.
I think it's my best work in the print unit. :)
Monoprint
The monoprint looks easy; just draw something and put on the painted glass and draw it again.
But I could make them more interesting; I mixed the colours to make more tones. And yes, it' easy, just use the colours wisely.
Fabric prints
Fabric print is my absolute favorite printmaking method.
I enjoy to design and paint them.
I can make everything what I like ; detailed, abstract, colourful.
So I hope you like them. :)
Woodcutting
Cutting a woodblock piece isn't the easiest doing what I made. I design a Yin-Yang symbol coz it has an easy shape and I couldn't cut any difficult shapes on the woodblock.
To make more interesting the Yin-Yang, I used black and red colours for it.
Drypoint
I think making a drypoint is one of the most messy work what I made.
It was easy to scratch on the plate coz it was like to draw with pencil but remove the ink was hard & messy. To be honest I dislike to this.
My design is pancakes with raspberries:)
I made 3 different colours version; pink, brown and black.
